Empowering Young Women Through Movement
A 6-Week Targeted Wellbeing Intervention for Female Students in Years 7–11
About the Programme
The Girls' Wellbeing Through Movement Programme is a structured, evidence-informed intervention designed exclusively for secondary school girls. Delivered in school by our qualified GCSE Dance teacher, the programme uses purposeful movement to support emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience during a pivotal stage of adolescent development.
We recognise that adolescence presents unique challenges for young women — from navigating social pressures and changes in body image to managing academic stress and emotional regulation. Movement is a powerful and accessible tool to address these challenges, and our programme is designed to make that support available to every girl, regardless of ability or experience.
